NY

I have been lucky enough to visit New York a few times already, when travelling America, on holiday and research trips. My experiences have taught me you can take a different angle away from the city every time you go, it completely depends on where and when you go in the ‘BIG’ apple. The shop windows are a museum to themselves and I have to admit the welcoming attitude inside the stores particularly the Designer ones, with their amazing in store environments seems to put them ahead of the UK shopping experience. From another View point I feel the city lacks heritage and it’s blocks are nothing on London’s complex streets, alleys and historic squares. Also the consistent bombardment of ‘I love New York’ advertisement is tedious and I think there is a lot more hype around the place than actually necessary. Possible that people are told they should love visiting, living, being in New York enough times, they actually believe it? The city is really one that never sleeps and there is so much to see and do. A fantastic diverse place to go.
